Location & Equipment Instructions

Location

  1. Our location is a very relaxing place and there's a semi-professional studio in the back we get to use for €2 per person
  2. The studio is located all the way in the back, go through the two soundproof doors
  3. In the front there are places you can sit, drink fresh mint-tea and play some chess
  4. Do not bring FOOD or ALCOHOL into the NON-SMOKING studio
  5. You are allowed to eat (burgers, pizza, etc) after the jam in the front, as long as they don't sell the food there
  6. The maximum legal capacity of the building is 50 people, which restricts how many people we can invite
  7. Always make sure to turn on the ventilation system (square light switch on the right wall in the back)
  8. Do your best to keep things tidy, take some trash with you when you leave
  9. Be careful with the equipment there (it's not ours) Amplifiers are especially vulnerable if you're not careful
  10. ----

Equipment

  1. Bring your own instruments! There's a djembe, keyboard, piano, drum-kit and some amps there... as well as some other percussion instruments.
  2. Guitarists make sure to BRING YOUR OWN GUITAR LEAD
  3. Guitarists make sure your guitar can be AMPLIFIED (semi is ok, dynamic mics there cannot pickup an acoustic guitar at all unfortunately). Internet quote: "Dynamic mics are useful when the sound source is close and reasonably loud."
  4. Singers feel free to bring your own mic if you have one, a couple of them there are a bit dodgy.
  5. ABOVE ALL BE CAREFUL WITH ALL THE EQUIPMENT, INSTRUMENTS, CABLES THERE (they are not ours!)
  6. If you cannot bring your instrument it's ok to ask another musician if you can use theirs, but that depends on their personal preference.
  7. Read the Equipment Knowledge pages as well please.
